Denbies Wine Estate is pleased to announce the appointment of leading wine industry figure John Worontschak, who will be joining the company as Operations Director.

Mr Worontschak’s role will be to oversee all aspects of wine production from the vineyard to the finished product.  His appointment is recognised as an integral part of the continuing improvements and expansion programme at the wine estate.

I have followed the expansion and international success that Denbies has achieved and looking forward to being a part of this exciting and developing company, particularly the growth of sparkling wines from this site.’

Denbies Wine Estate currently has a range of 12 wines and produces on average over 450,000 bottles of wine per annum.   In 2007 Denbies wines received outstanding recognition on an International level winning both the Sparkling wine Trophy at the 2007 International Wine Challenge and being nominated as UK Wine Producer of the Year at The International Wine and Spirit Competition.

Denbies is located in Dorking, Surrey with direct rail access from London Waterloo and Victoria mainline stations 40 minutes, Heathrow 40 minutes/ Gatwick 20 minutes.
