Planted by Paul and Lynn Langham in 2001 with over 5,000 vines and is situated in a hidden valley just off the A360 in the village of Littleton Panell south of Devizes. The site is primarily east and south facing so it always catches the morning sun and keeps the heat throughout the day. This also means they are sheltered from the predominant westerly winds and this creates an excellent micro-climate. The soil is greensand with chalk lying between 2 and 5 feet underground, perfect for the growing of grapes. Also on site is Wiltshire's last commercial orchard from which their own apple juice is produced.
