First planted by the Barnes family in 1969, the vineyard is the oldest in the South East. There are now 22 acres of south-facing slopes, situated in a shallow sheltered valley. The winery capacity of is 400,000 litres which caters also for cider production and private label apple juice.

White: Ortega (accounting for nearly 50% of the vineyard), Huxelrebe, Bacchus, Schönburger and Reichensteiner
Red: Dornfelder, Gamay, Pinot Noir

Open 10am -5pm all year except Sundays in January and February.
Guided Tours and meals are available subject to advance booking.
Visitors are also welcome to take a self guided tour of the vineyard and to a free tasting in the vineyard shop.
Sales:
Wine sales are mainly through the vineyard shop and via the website but also available locally.
Cider and Apple Juice can be found in many retail outlets across the Southeast.
Directions:
The vineyard is signed. From Biddenden take the A262 towards Tenterden. After 11/2 miles turn right on to the Benenden Road . Take the next left and the vineyards will be found after 150 metres.
